Zamboanga del Norte—The activity of the person depends on the health of his body.” Attorney James Verduguez disclosed during the closing ceremony of the Nutrition Month Celebration. He said the goal of the provincial government is to enrich the health of the people living in Zamboanga del Norte hence they strengthen the programs to solve the health problems and needs of the public.
Atty. Verduguez acknowledged the members of the Provincial Nutrition Council, teachers headed by Supt. Sharif Adzar Sarahadil and all the mayors who gave their support for a job well done. He also wishes the students to always support the program for their own benefit.
The Nutrition Month celebration on July ended by giving honor to the municipalities participated in the one-month activity. First prizewinner of the whole month commemoration is the municipality of Polanco. Mayor Francis Olvis received the PHP 5, 000.00 rewards and a plaque of recognition for making Polanco the Most Outstanding Municipality in Nutrition Implementation.
Mayor Gabriel Catane accepted PHP 3, 000.00 and plaque of Recognition as the second placer while Windelyn Rigodon, municipal nutrition action officer of Salug received PHP 2, 000.00 and a plaque of Recognition for their town as third placer.
The MNAO accepted the plaque for Most Outstanding MNAO Dr. Dominiciano Talaboc of Polanco (First), Dr. Herminia Soriano of Rizal (Second) and Windelyn Rigodon of Salug (Third Prize) are winners of the Most Outstanding MNAO. They also awarded the elementary and secondary students who won the nutrition quiz.
In the elementary category, the winner is Marigold Manlosa of Polanco Central School who also collected the 1st Prize in the Regional Championship and 5th Prize in the National Level. Manlosa received PHP 2, 000.00 and a plaque.
Second is Constantina Realiza from Villaramos Elementary School, Manukan who received PHP 1, 500.00 and plaque; while Elimarie Patagoc achieved the 3rd place and received PHP 1, 000.00 and plaque of recognition.
In the secondary level, the champion is Aisa Manlosa of Polanco National High School who received 2, 000.00 and plaque, 2ndplacer is Kinny Penales from San Isidro National High School who received PHP 1, 500.00 and plaque; while the 3rd placer is Maribeth Agihon of Ubay National High School, Labason who received PHP 1, 000.00 cash and a plaque. Coaches also received their respective plaques. The provincial government support the activity.
